ClientEarth

ClientEarth uses the power of the law to bring about systemic change that protects the earth for – and with – its inhabitants. ClientEarth works to strengthen laws and regulations, as well as to hold corporations and governments to account for their promises to protect nature.

In Europe, ClientEarth is working to defend European Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and precious marine ecosystems from the impacts of human-driven activities - from pollution to overfishing. This project focuses on strengthening mechanisms to monitor, prohibit and regulate damaging activities. It includes realising the potential of the legal framework on marine restoration and the new Action Plan to conserve fisheries resources, protect marine ecosystems and contribute to the phase out of bottom trawling across all European MPAs.
